Description

Light-green or green ointment with a characteristic odor of the components

Composition

1 g of the drug contains:

active ingredients: camphor - 1.6 mg;

excipients: menthol, eucalyptus oil, rosemary oil, bay leaf oil, chlorophyll, lanolin, vaseline.

Pharmacological properties

ATC vet: QD02AH - Veterinary preparations with protective and emollient action.

The drug has a moderate antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous and local analgesic effect. The ointment has an emollient effect on the skin, with regular use prevents cracks, erosions, frostbite, inflammation, protects the skin of the breast from weathering and other harmful environmental effects

Administration

Externally, for the treatment of cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats with bedsores, cracked teats and nipples, dry skin of the breast, exfoliation of the epidermis, burns, wounds, mechanical damage to the skin, ulcers, dermatitis, mastitis, arthritis , myositis, abscesses, phlebitis, lymphadenitis, insect bites as an antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anesthetic, and accelerating regeneration agent.

Dosage

The ointment is applied in a thin layer on the affected area of skin, massaging until complete absorption of the drug, 2-3 times a day until complete recovery. Treatment period depends on the pathological process type.

At the first signs of mastitis, the udder is lubricated with the drug and massaged until complete absorption of the ointment. The procedure should be repeated every 4 hours until the clinical signs of the disease disappear. Such treatment is additional and is used only in combination with treatment prescribed by a veterinarian.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to ointment components. Do not let the ointment get on mucous membranes.

Precautions

Utilize unused product in compliance with requirements of national legislation.

Polymer or glass jars, bottles of 150, 200 or 300 g, or aluminum tubes of 15 g.

Storage

Store in a dark place out of the reach of children at 0-30 °С.

Shelf life

2 years.
